Road to life

I sit there, by the sweet sunset,
Reminding myself I am sailing ahead
To the land that always was insane,
I am just a voyager, traveling in pain.

Long lost, have I, my hopes and will
to strive the path I chose to tread
it is nothing but pain in joys I get
I am but riding this ridiculous dry mist.

It was yesterday I chose this path,
In faith of fixing the life I had.
Was I a fool or dreamer, my heart
Will one day learn the end of this path.

It cant go on, the way it is,
Leaving behind a day a bit
Of life and joy that mirages the pain
Hiding behind every moment of life.

I have seen the sun set before,
far away from my mother’s home
That moon was special, a full and bright
My mother, by me, standing by my side.

I see this big glorious ball set again,
right here, right now, from everywhere
The moon is special this forth at hand,
But I see nothing, just gazing stars ahead.

This night is new, novel moon at hand
I tread the path, myself and alone.
as time goes by I sit by here,
reflecting the journey, I chose in tears.

It’s time for me to take a step
in route I will have to end
but momentarily when I reflect,
I see the me, that I never expect

My hand is full, so is my heart
in rage and war, with time and tide
Love is at stake, the risk I take
Now I have a choice to make.

The choice I made before to jjoin
this road, a route with hell’s guide
I see the future so brown and grey
yet so green, I can’t forget.

The route is harsh It pumps my brain
raises me up, and eats away
the life I want, the price I pay
still makes me want to finish the way.

It is but these four years of life,
decides where till what time you shall last
in a world full of deadly traps
the route is mine, I still wish to march .

“LOVE” why?

I can’t tell you how I feel,
When life is almost over, the affection makes his deal
For her who’s out of my reach
Her thoughts, haunt like a million leech.

Everywhere I see, I mistake for her,
Mind is a cursed magical philosopher,
Whatever I do, whatever I think,
her eyes, her face appear in a blink.

This time it’s different, like never before,
I see her, like I see the wonders of the world.
Cant believe, that one person can redefine,
The meaning of life; this complicated twine.

This phase is hard, a price it seems,
for all  success, all my dreams.
Yet I want her more than any
joy and pride, any entity.

I can’t tell her, yet hate I hide,
the feelings I have for the love of my life.
I don’t want anything, other than her,
But can I tell her? No, is the ans.
I don’t know what I can do now,
Am I in love, or am I just being a stupid clown?

English:

Din dekhte dekhte, shaal mein badal gaye,
Kal hum saath they kaha, aaj hum kaha pahuunch gaye,

Bas inti ummid thi, wapas aegi wo,
Phir pata chala, duniya ye badi kmini hai jo,

Aaj tak tujhe hum yadon mein samethke rakhe hai,
Par kya pata kis kone mein hum tumhare beithe hain

Kya din kya raat, teri aadat bhoola na paoon,
Bas ek hi tammanah thi, tu, jiske liye main kuch bhi kar jaoon.

Honeybee's Laze

As days pass by, months at end,
feels like time is losing its trend,
the bee who buzzed nectar out of the flower,
is at rest, cherishing his honey by the hour.

He doesn't work now, he says he did his part,
enjoying the pretty weather and its spark
carefree he is for the future behold,
a misery off drought around flower so bold.

Treaty he made with a bear to share,
the saved up knowledge of honey, a glare,
avoiding, he shouldn't have, to chase away
the bear, a brown thief who never does spare.

A darkness of company sucking his own
brilliance, diligence all awards he owned.
Likes, the bees, a sweeter company
of backstabbers and leechers of his melodious honey.

Clueless, he thinks, he is at time,
which he should utilize finishing his prime.
For soon comes summer, a time to bloom
new off-springs who would add to his loom.

With more work now,he can rest and stay
a time his body shall wither away.
For future, a mystery, you cannot fight,
So why not work more to always stay upright.

Now think a life you live around,
Same as the bee, you waste around.
I hope realization comes to you,
leave bears and go collect a honey or two.

Life at a glance

Every Saturday afternoon,
I sit by my only bed;
stare out of the window
so bright, could almost see
the entire world yet I see
the vast space, worn out
for every day’s glare.

The sun shines so bright,
It hides the sky, and hides
all the darkness in my life.
The dark round sky
glows alive, into a new
 blue zealous phase.

The line it sketches begins
a new era into mankind.
Where life is grey, but living it,
seems most colorful eternal taste.

Down there I see, an guiltless me
waiting to fly into the sky,
but wings are cut, never let to strut
but dreams tell me to glide away.

The world is your, my
place to live. I have seen half,
half seas left; want to find
the hardest bind, to content
a heart full of sophisticate shrine.

The window reminds
me of eyes of god, seeing a door to
entirely different race. Where
day is dull and night is bright
where you live when it’s time to die.

The golden flame that burns away,
I see but the blazing hope that way,
a light to life I mean to say,
a glow of mind sada jale.

The twilight is near, a fear
begins, today is lost, tomorrow begins
what it reveals is a mystery,
I would stop this tale of history.

I don’t want to stop, it is my fun
a desolate life full of run,
yet this drag seems to be
my only hope in this eternity.

Why you shouldn't go in depression

Good day my reader, today again I would be taking up the topic of depression. For quite a long time I have been melancholic and sad. There was no way out of it, and as time passed by, more and more of it was eating me inside. However, once I realized my exact causes, I have decided to try to put an end to this. One is a prey of the predator as long as one keeps the predator on its tail. As soon as he decides to face it, the predator might not seem ferocious at all. Just like the prey, I too have decided to give up depression and lead a joyful life.
Firstly, I am going to discuss in short about my depression and how it affected. Beginning of it seemed much unnoticed. How I got lost into the darkness, or how anyone gets lost, is mostly unknown. All I know is that certain circumstances and my ideas along with my choices made my life miserable.
Right now I am in the state of a clinical depression. I have not consulted any doctor, or anyone else, but a brief research of my own indicates of this conclusion of mine. Now, maybe I am not in to that stage maybe I am completely imagining all this, but it is what it is.
In brief, I never liked to return a word of disgrace to the verbal insults I would receive often as a younger boy. At first I chose not to, I knew nothing good will happens if I speak back. I would more of follow the principles of the great personality Mahatma Gandhi. “agar dushman tumhe ek gaal par chanta mare, to fir use tum doosra gal aage kar do|. Isse tumhari izzat badregi aur doosre ki ghategi” a vague translation means that if your opponent hurts you, don’t fight back and just withstand all the might of his. This will in fact increase your respect and reduce the others’. I also believed this would make them realize that they were wrong and would get better as a person. However these principles got old and it almost died off my by the time I left grade 7. The mere goodness within me, at least that’s what I believed, was a good deed was what a classmate of mine used as a tool to insult me every now and then in all the classes in that particular grade. Every time she would make fun of me, I would say nothing and she would continue passing harsh comments.  This is as far back I remember which really affected me. It went so intense that some teachers also asked me to say something back at least but I wouldn’t ever do that. Now I am discussing this not to show that I assumed myself as great person or to create sympathy for me, but just to tell how it all began. I am not even telling you to have a grudge against that classmate.
This year passed by I was mere normal till then. Grade 8, then nine, then ten too went super awesome. But ending of my finals of grade 10 almost changed my life. Whatever I was, I left for trying to satisfy a friend of my just so that she would become my friend, the special one. This was when I ended up wasting more time with friends, I started neglecting my studies and preferring to make a more social status. This did take some time but by now everyone knows me for some thing or the other.
My greatest and biggest mistake raised in grade 11. I joined a simple dance competition in the group with my crush. Now she wasn’t the problem, it was this other friend of mine whose behavior toward her and me, made me jealous and took my life out. Worst part of it was, he intended to do so at the first place, it wasn’t natural and so I hated him since then, though now we r fine with each other, I always feel insecure around him for such matters.
His few actions, made me make wrong choices, changed me and since then I slowly got deeper and deeper into this mess. I then began to have behavior problems, especially anger. My anger levels at everyone rose to heights.
I yet hadn’t noticed my state had changed so much. All I knew back then was I wasn’t the same person I used to be a month before that. And then I liked it. Being alone, spending time alone, having fun in my room with the doors locked, windows closed and curtains, I never noticed open or closed, who cares. Things even changed in my house. I now lived a personal life, within my small cot without preference of parent’s slightest interventions. This was and still is like an addiction to me. I got addicted to this life.

I wondered why is light always the preferred side. Why not like dark, after all light is emitted from a source, and darkness is the natural component of the universe and every matter, we know of. Such thoughts dwindled around me all the times and I would rather wonder of these all day long. By now I would sit in front of my laptop, do something or the other but not school or useful work. Always preferred time pass. I had become the very person I hated as a boy.
The ideas of getting a girl still dwindled around me and I started losing weight. But this new thought ate me up like a … my imagination is lost just think of a word.  I lost excessive weight in few months. I started ignoring food too. Here I met my downfall. By now I stopped studying, like I used, stopped eating much, and stopped going out much; a person who could have had so much fun but chose to stay home and live life by himself.
It was around last week or so, I realized. “Was it natural, that I was naturally sad and lived alone and no one preferred me to be around them? Was it actually natural that circumstances kept me down and never let me up? Or was it just me?” It was this thought, like inception, made me realize or at least changed my mindset again. I relied that all along I assumed myself to be the one who would get hurt, get beaten down and would never be able to stand up, and someone who is out there would one day understand my feelings and would come and help me recover. I found some obnoxious pleasure in such thoughts and found myself to be what Wikipedia reference calls as Self-defeating personality disorder.

There are so many things I haven’t discussed or thought of because I don’t or can’t even remember them. My stress has made me forget a lot and I constantly forget memories just like that. But from what I remember and what I al I have discussed out of what I remember ultimately proves that I was depressed because I somehow chose to, and now I can’t live with it. It’s not that even now I don’t like the addicted life I have, as a matter of fact right now I am sitting in front of my laptop with the world forgotten and just this small text to focus on. But since my realization I now have increased will power and more control and grasp over the story of my life. I can now control more than I could before and I hope I keep getting better.
This essay, I wrote is not for showing to the world my pain or making others feel sympathy for me because I hate that, but the only place I like to share stuff is not any journal or something but this blog. You may take me to be a mentally retarded person, or a physiological patient, but I am a person too and I am normal in my ways so do not judge me or any one with their flaws but instead see what are meant for and how they are a valuable resource. Through this essay I realized even more and also I also hope you as a reader have realized to not try the mistakes of my life. Do not go in depression because it is much like alcohol or chocolate sweet as appearance but nasty side effects. So then, I would write more useless stuff again, and I hope I didn’t waste all your time. Bye

Poem is always a way

Awkward as it may seem,
This poem has no mean,
I have no intentions to dream,
I said it; I said it with a scream.

You see I'm tired,
Of every day’s retire,
To wake up again to desire,
A jolly day, though you can’t one hire

All throughout day,
I work none, and live astray,
Poem is though always a way,
To get out and express yourself anyway.

Therefore I write a poem again,
Useless as it may seem, it makes me rain,
With platform joy, since I live on a train,
Which ends a destination I can’t restrain.

Amazing, this useless poem took me less than 10 mins to write... i am so useless

Feeling Lonely and Alone

Have you ever wondered, in your life you have your family, then friends, then comes that someone special you longed to be with, but no matter how much you tried you still feel like you are always standing alone without anyone all by your side. Did you ever notice, your family is always trying to make you feel better, your true friends always keeping you delighted and you’re that special one, well you don’t have words for her, or him. Just like you I have a pretty supporting family and amazing friends, but all I feel is left out because I am not understood by others.
I once only had a happy family where my dad would work, my mom would do the mom’s stuff and I would do plain studying. Back then I deprived of friends it’s not that I had much of the “friends” but I had different focus in life. Study was my prime focus and I never regarded the need of friends. My life was simple listening to teachers in school; coming back home and studying and finally getting awesome grades, well according to me, and thus I lived to study. However, I never realized which I did now, that even with all books around me, and a great family; I was all but alone.
Then I grew up, shifted places turned fourteen, when I actually realized how important it is to know that studying is not the only thing one should do. I understood I was the lonely, so I began. I began the search for friends. Even though you might feel dumb thinking “what an idiot I am to find friends” but trust me, if you never made friends before by yourself, you actually would find it difficult to make even one and to sustain it. I would go around trying to make friends with people, anyone to be honest, and luckily I ended up with a very nice old friend of mine.
I felt better to have one friend, than none, and trust me you don’t want to lose your best friend, it’s horrible and I think you all should know how it feels. Through him I met more friends, and made many friends and was rather happy to be with so many people.  I loved life then and was too happy to be honest, though you would again laugh at me with the thought that, what the heck am I? I am joyful to have made friend, I am stupid. But that’s who I am, so deal with it.
But then again, I would often feel the case of being different than others, a difference which would cause me to dislike the company of many and feel uncomfortable with many.  I started finding it weird to be with some of my friends, for now I felt I had too many to handle. I would leave myself out of the conversations and company of many by myself and thus feel lonely and ended up Alone, well with few very good friends.
Then I made a small mistake with huge troubles for later part. And you know the mistake, well you can easily guess, I gave into love. Don’t know how or why but it just happened that I madly started loving a girl who I never even talked to. I guess I am stupid but whatever it is I ruined it since then. At first I didn’t know that it would have ruined it for me, but gradually as it grew intense I became more and more mad.
Then finally one friend came along with the same interest as me and I came down to my ruins. This was the beginning of my end. Since I am bad at mingling he won her over me, in no time and I came to a disastrous emotional breakdown. Since then, I simply gave up hope and lost interest in every single thing. It was less of a choice than a gradual change. Thus I changed again. In search for love, I start hating myself, that friend in competition of mine and gradual many others. I always hated hard and rash people, and I ended up being one of my enemies therefore, hating myself.
Quite recently, I had intense love for her that I couldn’t take it anymore and so I finally confessed my love for her, which did not quite end up as expected from my point of view. But this did help me to realize that I should move on and not keep on remembering the old thoughts. Though she was my friend and that she quite as well knew I liked her from before, I decreased my interactions with her and improved my miserable conditions. But a major shock I got was quite recently which included her and this time it became deadly. This time, one of my very close friends informed me that they both were interested in each other and got closer than normal already, which left me in pieces. And now, even my closest friends are no more close to me, and I am detaching from everyone around me. Thus, I ended up all the same alone again, with a family, friends and an interest in someone.
I had once started off, from being alone and to go on to make some great friends. But now I am gradually depriving of friends again and ending up lonely again all the same as I was few years ago. The only difference was that before I at least studied and had enough interest to focus on my future and career, but now all is lost for nothing is interesting or useful anymore for me. So I ended up where I started and with added hopelessness. However, one of friends once told me to make me feel better that “Dude if now you have hard times, then great moments are not far away, so keep having faith”. With this I still keep my hope and faith in destiny and wish that someday, the sun will rise for me and I would also have a much more cheerful morning and be happy for once.

Terror of our nation

O, the lives lost in war
O, the fights uselessly fought
I believe in an easier way
The way the barbarians do not agree.

I see the terror in his eyes
How fright he is by my side
Peacefully though he rests in cot
The thunderous noise disrupts his thoughts

All through middle school I got
We learn from history, lesson was I taught
Life is precious, war is not
But life is lost when war spreads across

We know once Hitler terrorized
Two decades wasted in countless murders
Of innocent lives, just to conquer
The parts of crust when earth is our nation.

Now again we live no peace,
Wars caused for all but greed
I see the end when it begins
Greed always leads to a fruitless nation

Thus I think wars a trouble,
Lives lost and end will be the end
So all we need to do is kill
The greed in you and the greed in my will.

Death- really the only option???????

Death is always a way out,
But it is a onetime exit only
Think on all things you will miss out,
And remember who all will miss you.

Don’t say you wanna die for not
Being able to do your duties well,
Cause wherever you are you will
Always get loads to think about

You might feel you are the only one
With burden so heavy you can’t bear
But everyone you see today
Suffers the same fate someday.

So go out there, out in the world
Live your life, without a doubt
For remember one thing I figured out
If now it’s night, the sun will soon come out.

You Don't Know Me Truly

 You Don't Know Me Truly

Within my room do I cry,
With all my best effort do I try,
But it is not in my reach to not be shy,
And always I smile, you never reply.

I be myself, you don't judge me wise,
I strive to prove, I am so nice
But then it seems to my surprise
You choose those guys all your life.

Then once was when I made a mistake
Lost my heart and put my life on stake,
Now I do regret that it would break
My heart and soul, give me a headache.

I love you girl, I can’t express
How hurt I feel when I get stress
Looking at you with him always
And me alone trying to hide away.

But now I have a thought of mine,
To forget every single thought of thine,
Though hard it is, baby I can’t be fine,
But this is my life. That's how I shine.

Is it really necessary to say the words “I love you” to your parents?

Most of us are lucky enough to have dad and mom, to take care of us, supervise us, and provide us with all our needs, starting from the basic up to our luxurious demands. They nourish us, and also make us who we are, and educate us the right way.  I am a boy of 16 who is going on 17 and my whole life I have been living with my parents. However, not once have I told them that I love them, never, I believe, or at least that’s what my memory tells me. But today I wonder should I express my love to them by telling them I love them.
I love my parents so much, that I can’t express it myself. It’s true that I get pissed off by them, and same goes the other way, but that doesn’t decrease our love for each other. Every morning my mom wakes me up and prepares the breakfast and school lunch, and sends me off to school. My dad goes to work every day and comes back home and helps me all the times in my difficulties. And they do all this just because they love me too much.
I on the other hand, try to help them by arranging plates on the table at dinner times or getting better results to make them proud but can’t do as much as they do for me. I love them, and I want to prove it to them by working hard. But I feel shy to directly telling them how much love I got for them.
You might be wondering, who is this guy who doesn’t even tell his own dad and mom that he loves her. But imagine this, if you have been taught your whole life, that never express your feelings and emotions by words but by action, what would you do? I am in such a situation that, I feel so awkward to even open my mouth for such words when they come in front of me.
I still remember when i was a small boy my dad would drop me off to school every day. In the evenings when my wholes family would go out, I used to sleep in between my dad and mom, on the motor bike, and my mom would happily carry me, being so heavy since small. Whenever I would get sick, my mom would sit up late and provide me warm water shakes, medicines etc.
Even today my parents aid me to their complete potential. And I try my best to return the affection, but I lack several skills in it. So I feel like going to them and expressing my feelings to them about how much I love them. Time moves by really fast, just yesterday I feel like it was my first day in school, and today is the 2nd last year of my school life. I feel life’s too short and we all should tell our loved ones how much we care about them. I believe most of your stories are also similar to mine in some way or the other. So I want you to go out there to your mom or dad who is in the next room and tell them how big a chamber of your heart is allocated just for your parents. If they don’t live with them or you don’t have the courage to tell them, write it, in a nice letter confessing your thoughts and ideas to them. If you are an adult, I recommend you to immediately take care of your parents and express your feelings to them. God forbid, but you never know when a mishap might occur in any of our lives. Such a bug tragedy can leave you startled and you may never get a chance. So take the chance now and go make a change. Trust me, if you express your love, your relationships would become even stronger than before.
I got this pleasant idea from a chain Facebook status of a conversation which is given below:

At 3 years old we say: “Mommy, I love you”.

At 10: “Mom whatever!”

At 16:”My mom is so annoying”!

At 18: “I wanna leave this house”

At 25:”Mom, you were right”

At 30: “I wanna go back to my Mom’s house”.

At 50: “I don’t wanna lose my Mom”.

At 70: “I would give up EVERYTHING for my Mom to be here with me”.

You only have one Mom. Like this if you couldn’t live without your mom ♥

The First Day in my real Utopian city.

Life as I know it was never the same when I came to this paradise. I had been shifting my whole life. Since birth, I had shifted from my native city to the capital of my country. There I grew up slowly. Within the capital itself I had been shifting often, never to settle in one place. I made many friends and had tons of fun. But life was not stable. From there I moved to Vietnam, lived life till my age of 7, and changed again to the Gulf. Thought I would be happy there but even in midst of my life in Gulf, I had a trip to Europe for a long time. After coming back to the Gulf I shifted to Nigeria. I learnt languages of each country I had been to, thinking I would live there for a really long time. But before I knew it, I came to this wonderful land, which is like a paradise to me, right now.
I still remember, the first day of my arrival, my dad took me in his car to our so called apartment. On my way to my residence, I saw the concrete masses and was amazed by their beauty. Each building was one of a kind, and each of them had its own unique symbol. Of course they had a meaning, but I had no clue about any of it back then. There were so many cars I had seen that day, which I had hardly seen before. And I was amazed by the traffic system. In between we halted in a mall, and as far as I remember, that was the first huge mall I had been to in my life. You see, I didn’t reside in the developed parts of Vietnam, and of Nigeria. Gulf region that is in Saudi Arabia I never left my house. My parents would always do the shopping. The mall they would go to contained only a Giant of one floor stretch, which was within a limited space. The huge mall I entered was like a maze, with so many rows and countless number of shops. For me it was awesome, but for them it was the same old life of congestion. After that experience we went to our new shelter, an apartment on the 17th floor.
Standing down at the reception, I looked up to try to see the top of the building, but I was far too small to reach the 20th floor when it had 33 floors in total. As I enter my house, I saw on the left a sandy sofa, so soft I could almost get lost in it. It was a set for 5 to sit with three on one and two separately, as you know the general style of sofa. The sandy sofa was completed by a big 32 inch Panasonic television, with all my favorite shows filled in it. The area was compact, but it was cozy. The walls were white was snow and at the end of it was a glass door, so transparent, it looked like few layers of air stationary at the point. This glass sliding door gave way to the crazy balcony. I first ran to the balcony to check it out. And as I looked down, I felt like I was on top, and the world beneath me. From the main door of the house, five steps to the right was the kitchen, full of cupboards and a tall fridge. I could almost live in it. The kitchen had the pathway to the servant quarters on the left, but I was too excited to see my room that i never saw the quarters till the end of the day. Back to the main living room, I saw a long thin corridor stretching to end in a huge bedroom. On the middle of this corridor was a tall woody brown door on the left. This door opened its gates for the first time for its king to enter. This thought came in my mind as I entered my room.
My room was rather small in size, but it was kingly enough for a small boy of 11. It had a tall dark cupboard on the right, and a snowy white wall on the left, and right, but that’s not the point. The room contained two large single beds combined as one just for me to sleep in it. And I was so happy; my parents gave me this room. The room even had a computer table where I could place my laptop with all my CDs and DVDs. And the room had a large window that was wider than my height back then and was as tall as me. As I was checking my house I flashbacked of all the houses I lived in, I always got the biggest room. And in this house I was given the smaller room, on a promise that by the next year it would be jointed with its consecutive room and it would become as big as two rooms, in one. I was so delighted by the thought, I forgot to check the rest of the house when I heard we had to leave to buy more groceries and take lunch somewhere out. So I freshened up and got ready to leave.
I was young back then and after moving so many times, I had almost forgotten what it is like to stay in one place and enjoy it completely rather than shifting so many times and not knowing the entire beauty of a place. I never knew this place would become my home for the next 6 years of my life, and the last 6 years of my life. By now, you would have known what place I am talking about if you know me, but if you don’t, then I would reveal it to you soon. This is not my native e country but I don’t know why, people here seem so close to me, as I would feel for my own countrymen.
That day, as soon we left house, I was awestruck by the endless road running along the apartment and a long procession filled up the entire path. It seemed as if he procession was celebrated just for my arrival in this utopia. Everything seemed so perfect and remarkably beautiful. There were so many colors and so many types of music; I had never imagined my past life till that one day. I don’t quite remember the procession because I was famished and very sleepy, but I do remember that there were at least twenty SUVs and more than twenty pickups all filled with people celebrating a very special occasion. As we made past the ceremony we ended up in KFC, the world famous fast food center. I still remember I ordered two sandwiches plus rice and two chicken pieces for myself. I wonder how I finished that all by myself, when I can hardly eat one sandwich nowadays. The juicy paddy was so crunchy in my mouth that even if it were poison, I would happily eat it up just for its amazing taste and smell.
After that lunch I was left back at home for my parents to go for shopping stuff I wasn’t interested in at all. As I reached my room, I passed out till dinner time. I believe a lot had happened within those 6 hours. Because when I got up, I saw the room smelt of the sweet wine and as I headed for the dinner table, I saw plates were arranged as if it were a dinner with the president and at the center of the table was a large big pot covered by a lid with wonders inside. And beside it was a large pot of rice. As I sat by the table, my mom opened the gates to her excellent art. She cooked the best chicken curry in the world. I always loved my mom’s food, but that night there was something special. And I loved it so much, my stomach had almost burst. Right then I watched TV and went back to bed.
That night I thought for hours, as for whether this was my final destination or whether this one of more of those houses that I would live in for few days and move again. But one thing was sure, whatever it was; it was the best experience I ever had. I still reside in the same city, different apartment though. But I can never forget the first day in here. And for those of you who do not know, where “here” is, it is a capital of the country with most number of islands in the world. It the famous city of Indonesia, Jakarta.
This was my first day in here, and was the best thing that ever happened to me till now. Actually it is the second best thing. The best thing which happened to me is something that I would share in days to come. Jakarta changed my life, and i love the change it brought in me.

Who will Marry Megan?

This is one my first scripts, i had made this to perform it out in my, class. Hope all you guys out there like it. Comments would be appreciated.

Door Rings…

Mother opens the door,

Gentleman: Good day madam, is this the Raymond Residence?

Mother: Why, yes it is, and who might u be?

Gentleman: I am Roswell, and I was invited for dinner by Mr. and Mrs. Raymond for talking about my marriage. You must be Mrs. Raymond, right?

Mother: ah, Roswell, come on in, call me Nina, and here is my husband Ronald.

Father: call me Ronald; please follow me to the dinner table.

At the table,

Ayah: So, Roswell, tell me about yourself…

Roswell: Well I…

Lights darken out, setting change, over to Megan, and Harris is sitting on the table and Megan on the chair.

Megan: Harris, we have been like this for so long now. Don’t you think we should do something about it?

Harris: you know you are right, even my but is starting to hurt, why don’t we walk?

Megan: No, fool, I mean we have been dating for so long now. Don’t you think it’s time we improvise our relation?

Harris: improvise our relation? What do you mean?

Megan: as in you know we plan on getting married and stuff?

Harris: why? I mean, we are fine this way, we live life. Have fun. It’s awesome. We can think about that later no?

Megan: Sure, why not you keep thinking while my parents arrange my marriage with that Roswell guy. Then we will think about it ><

Harris: Who? That fool, He can’t tie his own shoe lace, and your parents expect him to marry you?

Megan: why, yes they do. You know he is quite cute.

Harris: uh hem, excuse me? Did I just hear the word cute from you? You never called me cute?

Megan: Yeah, cause he is and you r not. And more over he is handsome and his bank balance is also better than you. You never know when I fall for him.

Harris:  oh really?

Megan: yes, really.

Harris: Really?

Megan: yes Harris, you never know

Harris: (confused, don’t know what to say) uh, uh,          Fine, be that way (Gets up and prepares to walk away, angry, sad)

Megan: eh, eh, Harry, I was just kidding dude. How can I ever let go of you. But seriously you have to talk to my parents. You have to face them and Roswell someday.

Harris: what bout today?  Roswell is just nobody. He will be down in no time.

Megan: you are saying this as if Roswell is a weakling. You know right that he has won medals for boxing. And my parents anyways hate you.

Harris:  Roswell is nothing.

Megan:  really? What about my brother? He is in police. He can turn you in any day.

Harris: don’t worry gal. I have everything within my control all the time. And It will take more than just your bro and Roswell to take me away from ya.

Megan: Fine then, why not come over today?

Harris: sure, why not. Let’s go now.

Megan:  yeah, perfect, today Roswell is coming to dinner also. My whole family would be there. talk to them face to face.

Harris: okay, yea… (Thinks about what he heard) wait what? Roswell’s at home? Why is he coming (scared) and your brother too? I thought he was on duty.

Megan: why what happened?

Harris: nothing, umm maggy, why don’t we go tomorrow? Anyways it’s pretty late today.

Megan: why, why? Are you afraid?

Harris: yes (whispering).   (Proper voice)  I mean no, no. I ain’t afraid. Bring it on.

Maggy: okay then. let’s go…

House door approached:

Harris: (is about to knock the door, stumbles) eh, maggy. It’s your house. You knock no.

Megan: you are plain scared; here let me take the initiative. (Knock knock/ring the bell)

Inside,

Roswell: let me get the door. I bet it is Megan.

Roswell opens the door: Hey, what a pleasant surprise, we all were expecting you, where have you been?

Megan: oh I was just… (Come in, ignores him.) to parents: hi mom, hi dad.

Roswell: and look whose here? The mighty Harris! What are you doing here? You dare come here?

Harris: why? You got no right to kick me out, you don’t own this place.

Roswell: you’re right, let’s hear it from the higher authorities, shall we?

Ronald: Megan (angrily) why did you get him here? He has no business here ><. Eh, you.  Get away from my girl, and stay away from this house.

Megan: Dad, he is my love. You can’t talk to him like this

Ronald: who will stop me?

Harris: Sir, please. Stay in your cool. I am here to ask you for your daughter’s hand?

Nina: well I will give you mine, want a slap?

Harris: I can bear anything for her.

Phillip: why don’t you bear staying away from her life?

Harris: you make me

Phillip: oh yeah, I will call up the cops.

Harris: wait what, aren’t you a cop yourself?

Phillip: uhh, so what, can’t I call the cops? I surely can.

Roswell: You, stay away from her. She is mine

Harris: why don’t you win her over?

Roswell: why not, i got enough money to support all her dreams, all her life

Harris: I protect her and will protect her for all my life even beyond it, hah beat that comeback silly.

Roswell:  well, guess what, I am too awesome for her to choose you.

Harris: LOL, u can’t even tie your shoe lace, hahahahah

Roswell: where does shoe lace come from? And I can ok. (He bends down to tie it. Then he gets up and…) eh why am I even tying my shoe??? I am stupid…

Harris: oh yes u r, see u r admitting it.

Roswell: eh, u stink fool,

Harris: and you, you…

Megan to the rescue: stop it both of you. You are not kids.  We are discussing a serious matter here.

Roswell: well why don’t you tell him to shut his big mouth.

Harris: why don’t you zip it?

Nina: why don’t you two seal your lips and start behaving more mature. We are here for Megan’s marriage discussion. Think over it.

Ronald: yeah guys, grow up. If you don’t choose your wife wisely, you might end up in hell, (whispers) just like me

Nina: what did you say? I am hell to you, why couldn’t you choose that chick from your college then, you could have been happy with her.

Ronald: I didn’t say you were hell; it’s the way we live that is not so amazing.

Nina: so why don’t you tell me what is amazing?

Phillip: oh god, stop it you two. Seriously! Megan, it’s done, you are marrying Roswell. Send Harris off the hook.

Megan: no, bro. you stay within you limits. I am his, and he is mine. If you people don’t approve of it, I am leaving house.

Phillip: fine, leave. But you won’t be happy with this ruffian for more than a day, I am telling you.

Megan: He ain’t a ruffian; he has an awesome job ok. And his house is also big.

Roswell: not as big as mine.

Megan: shut up. (Roswell retreats, sad)

Phillip: If you ever want to see me happy, marry Roswell.

Megan: you want to see me marry, let me marry Harris.

Phillip: no Roswell

Megan: No Harris

Phillip: NO

Ronald: oh oh oh.  Stop all this mess, we called Roswell for dinner. Let’s enjoy our meal and then fight. I assume, Harris will also eat with us, since he has no food of his own,

Nina: you are right, I am famished, let’s eat people.

Harris: okay, okay, but tell Roswell he is going down,

Roswell: We will see

Harris: yeah we will see.
